Who Doesn’t Want To Watch Italo Doing Tow-Ats?

Italo’s surfing isn’t pretty, like Craig Anderson’s. It isn’t technically perfect, like Mick Fanning’s. But what Italo’s surfing does have, that most others’ don’t, is spunk. Whether the waves are ten foot or two, I’ll stop whatever the hell I’m doing to watch this kid surf. He’s that entertaining. 

Oh and, just a sidetone: this clip prominently features Italo’s hometown of Baia Formosa, Brazil. Does this place not look incredibly cool? Like potentially even livable by western standards? I hope one day to visit Italo in Baia and trade waves on his playful right point. The drink Caipirinhas as we bid the sun adieu.
