Watch: Asher Pacey Breezes Through The So Cal Traffic
Sand bottom barrels are the most beautiful thing!
On Saturday, Southern California’s coast maxed out. Except for this little sliver of sand, which was about as user-friendly as it gets concerning size. The crowd however, was a whole ‘nother story. It’s one of those spots the lure you in like siren–oh, the sweet enchantment! But when you follow her song, you arrive to find something’s not right. You can sit for hours at this notorious stretch of sand, get dropped in on countless times, chandeliered repeatedly, and if you don’t have calm tube riding demeanour of dear Asher here, you’re left wishing you surfed a lower quality, less crowded break (especially on a Saturday). Because that one good one can make your day, but the wise man takes a day full of waves rather than waiting for that “one”. Patience is a virtue, but we’d rather stay busy.
