There are very few originals in surfing. Andy Irons was one of em. So’s John John. And, the lesser-known Ryan Burch is one of them. These guys draw different lines on a wave than most. While Burch’s approach might not be everyone’s cup of camomile there’s no denying the intellect and skills of this young Californian surfer. He knows more about surfboards than most of the top World Tour surfers and it shows in his wave riding ability. His asymmetrical shapes complement the way he rides a wave, and he rides a wave, very well. Here he is destroying a few Indonesian walls, mostly at G-Land. This clip is a refreshing change to the usual Indo rip clips and this is a man worthy of your time.
