Everything That Went Down Before The Fiji Pro Resumed
Beach Chair: 60 seconds of drone vision from between the heats.
As of today the 2017 Outerknown Fiji Pro intermission is over. The window is closing, the jerseys are on and the term ‘underwhelming’ comes to mind. Continuing with our peripheral coverage of stop #5, the Stab x Corona Beach Chair is back and today we have for you a collection of drone-exclusive vision from the Tour’s South Pacific visit. Comparing what we saw a week ago, before we were left with a feed full of skull drags, fishing achievements and the WSL’s endless commentary surrounding Michel Bourez’s novel stall, Cloudbreak had a thrilling show for us. Now, we’ve lost Mick Fanning and John Florence in wonky windswell *sigh*.
Let’s continue with the program. Above we have a reel of warm-ups featuring Matt Wilkinson, Bede Durbidge, Glen ‘Micro’ Hall, Kolohe Andino and Jordy Smith, keeping the blood flowing while we waited for Cloudbreak to return to ‘contestable’ conditions.
While you’re here, take time to visit our Beach Chair moments from earlier in the program.
Warm-up episode one featuring Gabriel Medina, Owen Wright, Nat Young, Matt Wilkinson, Yago Dora, Stu Kennedy, Frederico Morais, Conner Coffin and more.
Our exclusive interview with Mr Sebastian ‘Seabass’ Zietz at Tavarua.
Reel of moments we captured during the short window when Restaurants lit up, starring John Florence, Julian Wilson, Matt Wilkinson, Wiggolly Dantas, Connor O’Leary, super coach Glen ‘Micro’ Hall, Barton Lynch and Martin Potter.
Jersey-free Cloudbreak action with Julian Wilson, Kolohe Andino, Gabriel Medina, Parko, Bede Durbidge, Wiggolly Dantas, Barton Lynch, Nat Young, John Florence, Connor O’Leary, Conner Coffin and Michel Bourez.
Stay tuned for more dispatches from the tour’s tropical vacay.
