Here’s Seven Frontrunners On Track To Win A Fijian Surf Voyage

This is a simple competition: nominate a mate who you believe is capable of holding their own in thundering Fijian tubes alongside the likes of Asher Pacey and Otis Carey and they score a spot onboard their vessel. While your talented friend gets to join the gents on their South Pacific adventure, you, as the nominator, win yourself a years supply of Vonu beer and a signature Asher Pacey DHD Twin Fin.

Mr Tutton is one of those individuals who’d fair just fine in the Fijian atolls with nothing but a knife and his favourite hunk of fibreglass. Currently he has the largest and most impressive backing for the job.

“Self promotion isn’t really his bag (he probably won’t see this) and he’d probably hate me entering him in this, but he’s kinda perfect,” explains nominator, Michael Meehan. “Rotuman/Indigenous heritage – threads tube, wets rail, loves the tropics and loves beer.” Stab believes all criteria have been met for Arlon to prosper on this south pacific adventure.

Rumour has it this man is more than capable of drinking the team under the table, then front up the very next morning glass-eyed and scratch into the wave of the day. We want proof.

Sean ‘Sea Mullet’ Mawson has appeared on the walls of Stab in the past. Everything we’ve seen from him seems worthy of holding up against the other boat trip talent. He’s got revered filmmaker Darcy Ward and large wave deity Russ Bierke singing his praises.
