“I Didn’t Go In The Ocean For Two Years, And I Was Extremely Heartbroken”

Sometimes our saving grace is right in front of us. 

After suffering for years from surf and snowboard-related injuries, enduring more than eight back and three hip surgeries, Long Beach, California’s Robb Wilson found himself out of the water for more than two years, before a friend talked him into dipping his toes back in the brine, picking up an Olympus and a water housing at Jason Hoffman’s request, and starting his relationship with surfing anew.
