Here’s What You Missed From Honest Ale’s Bondi Blowout
If summer is going to continue like this we might not make it to see Autumn.
The first red and white tins snapped open around 3pm.
With the day in Bondi being as idyllic as it was, there was no escaping the afternoon escalating into the evening, and the evening subsequently into a morning.
While the sun still shone the Bondi Bucketlist made for an exceptional venue selection for Honest Ale’s Welcome To Summer party.
Metres from the sand, tourists brushed shoulders with invitees, everyone shared bright eyes and thirsty palettes.
Tupperware Party kicked off the live music proceedings, followed by the punk-flavoured grit of north coast band Mini Skirt, a novel stray from the usual lounge tones of the seaside bar.
Reports came in that our presence had been felt from the far reaches of Bondi thanks to Mini Skirt’s generous amplification. Shots began lining up, more tins were passed, the DJs took over, vision blurred.
We’ve little recollection of the party’s transition from Bondi back to Taj’s Tamarrama apartment, but we do remember a fridge full of Honest Ale, dancing in the living room and the deserved pain we’ve felt ever since.
