Shaun Manners Makes Out With A Bunch Of Girls In Skegss New Music Video

Life on this tour looks kinda fun and unhealthy.

Not sure if you share our curiosity, but we’re wondering how Shaun Manners scored a tongue twisting moment with these young ladettes – did they take a slice of the production budget, or were they enthusiastic Skegss disciples from one of their countless tour stops? Either way the band just dropped their latest single Spring Has Sprung, along with the above video featuring Mr Manners, his female friends and the Skegss outfit, including Stab’s fave vid guy Toby Cregan. It’s the first track from Skegss’ forthcoming Holiday Food EP which will drop sometime in Feb via Ratbag Records.

When asked to describe the band in three words Toby once said, “Naïve, fun …and drunk. No, wait, idiot, band, beer.” Which seems reasonable considering the content of the video. This time, thanks to Shaun, add in a touch of awkward and maybe a glass of cheap wine.

And the track itself? It’s honest, catchy, woven with Aussie punk flavour. The whole experience leaves you feeling a little inspired to intoxicate. Considering the release time, this could be an anthem to up the vibration for the sillier season.

The Skegss cats also recently announced an Australian tour booked for January, as well as their first tour in New Zealand the following month. They are also playing Party in the Paddock and Mountain Sounds Festival.

It ain’t for everyone, but if you’re digging, swing this way for updates.
