You’ve Never Seen A Child Fly Like This!
12-year-old Jackson Dorian shows what elite genes and the world’s best training facility can breed.
Who needs coffee when you’ve got Jackson Dorian?
Our morning Instagram scroll was rudely interrupted by this banger from 12-year-old Jackson Dorian, who’s seemingly increased his skill set two-fold over the Hawaiian winter.
At last year’s Stab High event, Nathan Fletcher granted his final right-hand ramp to the son of surfing legend Shane Dorian. Unfortunately, Jackson missed the wave on his first attempt before getting stuck behind the section on take two.
We knew Jackson had the skills to soar, but being 11 and in front of a large audience, the Hawaiian tween was understandably nervous.
All such nerves have dissolved in the clip above, where Jackson launched forward, backward, upside-down and beyond on Waco’s preferred closeout.
This is proof that exponential growth is born from infinite opportunity, especially with kids. Wavepools are fundamentally changing the sport of surfing. Do you love it too?
