Yesterday’s Insanities Session, From The Water

A wet, wide-angle on John John Florence and co’s wild North Shore sandbar session.

It’s been a damned slow start to the season this year on the North Shore.

Save for the brief two-day bender that saw Jaws run, it’s been pretty small kine the last few weeks. Yesterday’s swell was a little wild and wooly, but early in the day, Insanities’ mysto sandbar started to do it’s best impression of its big brother just up the beach, Pipeline, and John Florence led the stampede, as a star-studded session went down.

We’re sure you caught Tom Carey’s earache edit yesterday, but here’s what the action looked like from the water, featuring John John Florence, Brett Barley, Lucas Godfrey, and others, shot by young lensman Conor Trimble.
