Opening Week At The Wedge
It wouldn’t be a significant south swell in Southern California without a Wedge carnage reel.
Southern California got waves! The past few days, surfers finally put down their grovelers and were gifted with a long-awaited swell (of any kind).
It’s been an anguishing winter/spring. While it wasn’t all time conditions, it was enough to keep the Southern Californian folk at bay, and even relatively sastified.
So, here’s about two-minutes of closeouts and annihilation courtesy of Newport Beach’s most famous Jetty, the Dirty Ole Wedge.
Even when she’s a dark, brooding mess, she’s still something to marvel at.
