One-man edits can really suck sometimes. Budget or time constraints might mean the producer has limited footage to work with or, the wave gods don’t come to the party. The surfer might even hail from the one-trick-pony side of town. In such situations things can get stale real quick. Not Mitch Crews, not this piece. This is what one would call a well balanced edit. The waves are varied, from punchy ramps, to open face, to draining pipes, lefts and rights. Mr Crews exercises his full bag of tricks, taking advantage of pristine Californian conditions.
