Watch: Micah Margieson Keeps His Rails Buried

In case the similarities in the above clip aren’t enough of a giveaway, Micah Margieson is Brenden ‘Margo’ Margieson’s son. Like his first clip, Roots released nearly a year ago, there isn’t one air in the clip. Micah prefers to keep his fins to the face and rail covered under a few inches of water. 

He’s only 18 years of age and still has a way to go, but with self-professed influences such as “Poncho, Ross Williams, and Rob Machado” as well as his Dad of course, Micah is paving a fruitful path. He’s started doing a few pro juniors and the odd QS, so if he can translate the surfing scene above to 20-ish minute bursts in a jersey we might just have to put him into our CT considerations for the future.
