Meet The Gnarliest Unsponsored Sixteen-Year-Old On The Planet

Remember the name: Eimeo Czermak (no matter how you end up pronouncing it).

We first got eyes on French-born, Tahiti-raised Eimeo Czermak in 2018, when our main man Dom Mosqueira turned us onto the then-15-year-old as he was starting to turn heads at Chopes.

While Eimeo is all piss and vinegar when it comes to knifing West Bowls, don’t let his swagger-heavy approach and vibe fool you, he’s a little fuckin’ sweetheart, well-liked and thoroughly supported by the local boys like Tereva David and Matahi Drollet, and one of the first youngsters to paddle out when it starts to pump.

While Eimeo has amazingly remained without a sticker on the nose of his radical Stretch tube shooters, we get the sense that “Bloom,” his new seven-minute 2019 recap might change that.

Any Team managers looking for a bargain at any price? After a solid performance this winter on the North Shore, the kid’s going places, though with Teahupoo a five-minute paddle from his front steps at home, well, he’s already there.
