Let’s Spend A Day With Kanoa Igarashi
Surfing, drones, tennis, and more.
Getting barreled is an obvious pasttime for Kanoa Igarashi during his stay on Oahu’s North Shore. Having that much talent on a surfboard and unlimited access to the 11-kilometer wave factory is a guaranteed formula for A+ clips.
But you might be wondering what Konoa does with his downtime. After all, you can’t actually surf from sun-up to sun-down every day. Wind, lack of swell, and muscle fatigue strictly prohibit it.
From following Kanoa, we learned that interviews eat up most of his free time on land. When you’re as famous as Mr. Igarashi, people want to talk to you. Furthermore, being bilingual doubles the workload, making him answer questions in both English and Japanese.
It’s not all work and business for Kanoa Igarashi, though. He also carries an interest in flying drones, playing tennis, and eating poke bowls with Jeremy Flores.
