How Far Would You Go To Surf Cooking Deserts For Four Days?
Traveling halfway around the world to surf is now considered “easy,” at least for Nic von Rupp.
“I love Indo,” says Nic Von Rupp.
“For me, it’s a great, easy place to go from Europe for a few summer swells. It’s the opposite to our heavy cold slabs in Europe, which makes it a perfect getaway trip.”
Yeah, that sounds about right. Except for the part where Nic calls Indo an “easy place to go from Europe,” as the 18,000-island nation is practically on the other side of the world, but for the greatest Portuguese explorer since Christopher Columbus, a trip of that nature is all in a day’s work.
Plus, if you’re gonna get Deserts like this for four days, almost any amount of travel is worth it, right?
