Carissa Moore Meets Caroline Marks And The Nu School

A meeting of two female powerhouses.

Caroline Marks is a joy.

While filming for our “No Contest” series with, you guessed it, Red Bull, we solicited her for a few words about the Gold Coast. She giggled when we asked who was the biggest snake at Snapper, back-peddling her words, laughing out, Oh no, I’m not sure if I should say that!

She was as confident and awkward as any 15-year-old soon-to-be superstar. She’s not old enough to have a driver’s license, but handled all of our questions with aplomb, and an aura of professionalism unexpected from of a 15-year-old Floridian grommet.

This clip is a pairing of two great female power surfers: 3x World Champ Carissa Moore and the youngest to qualify for the World Tour, Ms Marks (who is currently sitting at #5 in the rankings).

The video above is adorably cheesy and features the two trading Red Bull swigs before taking swings together on Oahu, as well as various locations around the globe.

Most importantly, this short further solidifies Caroline’s case for a future World Title, though she’ll probably just take the Rookie of the Year.
