Rusty’s Before Crowds Launch

Rusty’s newest range celebrates the 80s, when the surfing world had a taste for exaggeration on all fronts. Big colours, big designs, big fun. Short shorts and a powerful dusting of hair above the top lip were commonplace. Rusty have just re-released some of the designs from that time, to create the ‘BC’ (Before Crowds) limited range. And like anything worth releasing, the new range needed a launch party. Said party fired up at Perth’s Uncle Joe’s Barbershop and Mess Hall, with the tastes of Gage Road Brewing Company and Sailor Jerry for liquor and Mess Hall’s Mex tapas. A custom Rusty board was auctioned off too, with proceeds going straight to the relief effort for the Philippines Typhoon. Above are some moments from the night…
