Our Cinema Section Got A Makeover And She’s Gorgeous
All those old gadgets we’ve missed, and some new ones!
Some come for the articles but let’s be honest, most come for the clips, the occasional slice of eye candy and to relieve pent up aggression in the comment section.
With that said, we’re delighted to announce that we are no longer confined to the closed doors of the here today forgotten tomorrow nature of our main feed (which also has a new “load more” button). We’ve got all our video clips in Cinema, ready for viewing and organised accordingly.
So what’s new? You can have a look around here if you’re impatient; if not, we’ll break it down for you.
Dig our original pieces? We’ve got our new release, Remember Ricardo (an in-depth documentary about Brazilian surfer, Ricardo dos Santos, who was murdered in front of his home in Brazil last year by an off-duty police officer), streaming in our featured box. And below you can scroll through our collection of works. Stab in the Dark; Thank You, Andy; Scorched; Bouncing (from Bobby Martinez and Bruce Irons to Jordy Smith); Sunshine in the Rearview; Ferrari Boyz… and much more.
Need a quick hit of inspo, or at least a laugh before you paddle out in knee high dribble? Welcome to #stabsingles: our newest edition to Cinema that features everything from waves you’ll watch on repeat, to spills, thrills and what that GoPro on the nose angle is best for.
Remember Stab 1.0? It’s been a while now and is easy to forget in the evolving world of the internet. These days, one week of content could fill a monthly magazine; however, with so much quantity we ache for quality. And with the masses of groms, amateurs, and pros pushing out countless edits a week. We’ve had to become dictators on our main feed. Previously this was what the While You Were Sleeping sidebar was for. Not the A+ biz, but the B and below; which we believe still deserves a place. So, once you exhausted yourself with the main feed head to WYWS. There’s always a little extra in there to ease that insatiable surf appetite.
You can also meet our contributors. Like Real Axe? See what our dear friend Toby Cregan’s done for us in the past. Along with the work of Jimmy Lees, Darcy Ward and Andrew Schoener.
