Mick likely hasn’t broken his early-morning routine since Bells, JJF hopefully hasn’t forgotten his warmup,  Dusty is surely studying two-year-old heat-recaps form his win on the Q, and Jay Davies is still revved up from his trial win. The surf isn’t quite the XL size that it was hyped-up to be, but screw it! There’s finally some swell for an event, and that’s a beautiful turn in the right direction. But, here’s the kicker…the boys aren’t getting  lost in Margies lineup. That lovely little square slab across the channel is doing its thing.
