This week the show catches up with a handful of Australian surfing’s finest fringe-dwellers, live on location at the iconic Farm homestead in the hills of Byron Bay. Your guests include traditional shaper-surfer, Ellis Ericson, whose fresh of a radical journey through Central America under the armed guard of a high-end rum company. Weird? Shyeah, you bet.

Beau Foster takes time out from running laps around Australia in his red Toyota Camry, scoring waves, to fill us in on the weird characters from surfing’s underground that he’s met along the way. He also tells us what it was like to do five days in the shaping bay with the great Maurice Cole. His brother Nate, a sometime lifeguard at Namotu in Fiji, also drops in.

There’s experimental long boarder and all round style master Jack Lynch fresh from a trip to the USA where he was hanging with Alex Knost and, more bizarrely, Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon. More on that in the show. And “the best ambidextrous surfer in the world” Raf Browne. “Fuck Pauline Hanson, fuck Donal Trump, on with the show!”
