Parker Coffin, fronstide cork-pop, Hawaii
The swell on the North Shore has dissipated from scary perfection to crazy levels of fun. Tom Carey, lensmagician, landed yesterday afternoon and rolled up to the Volcom house, which sits right in front of The Pipeline. “The waves were small but rippable,” says Tom. “Parker (Coffin, who you recently saw killing it backhand at J-Bay in High Line) paddled out and this was his first wave. Nothing goes undocumented at the Volcom house.” This spin mightn’t be marked as a completed ride in a contest, but Parker ain’t wearing no jersey and the cork in this throw makes up for any points lost. Performance art!
