Mitch Crews here is a ferocious surfer. Dude attacks. The day y’see pictured here, everywhere on the Gold Coast was flat – D-Bah and the points. But if y’got the braves to tackle the river mouth traverse, like Mitch here, Stradbroke Island’s the place to go. The man who punched his arm through the wall of this wave to shoot Mitch powering off the bottom is named Ryan Williams. Ryan hadn’t been shooting too much water angle before this, as he’d cracked his housing while trying to replace the trigger in the pistol grip. But he glassed it up, and now he’s good to go. And shots like this one are what he’s been scoring.
