Not only are the Pringle brothers enthusiastic and creative surfers – they’re also badass concreters. Both dudes spend their days slaving away on a work site, pouring concrete slabs “with the best of ’em” (says photog Matty O’Brien – “Hard-working, good Aussie blokes.”) Throwing your knees into the kinda landings required by Mike and Thom’s surfing (plenty of airs and tons of finners) is tough, but even tougher after a day’s worth of hard, physical labour. That doesn’t stop them though – turns like the one Mike’s doing here are frequent in every session, made all the more sweet in this instance by Matty’s eye for background.
