Michel Bourez, a cool breath of Teahupoo, Tahiti
Following the Quiksilver Pro, Gold Coast, Michel Bourez took a brief trip home to Tahiti. With the Snapper event finishing two weeks ago, and the Margaret River Pro not firing up for another week, the eight hour flight to Papeete was worth it for Michel to see his gal, his kid, and to get up in some familiar waves and eat a ton of the awesome Tahitian diet (coconuts and poisson Cru!). Michel didn’t get out of round three at Snapper, so he’ll be itching to light up the open faces of Margaret River with that powerful rail game. Til then, scoring Chopes like this is perfect for refocussing.
