Handycams of some kind or another are just everywhere on the North Shore right now, aren’t they! Ain’t many big dogs who don’t have one in their hand, on their head, strapped to the beak of their board or, as is the newest addition, protruding from their mouths thanks to a bite disc. But of all those filling memory cards with motion selfies or tunnel vision, as with most things in surfing, it’s hard to beat Kelly Slater.
