How to pack a car for Portugal, with team Hobgood
Immediately following the Quiksilver Pro, France, the Hobgood bros (CJ and Damien) along with photographer Trevor Moran, jumped in a car for the long haul to Portugal. It’s a 984km journey, which totals in about nine hours depending on the weight of your foot. Photographer Ryan Miller observed the packing process, and offers us a breakdown of the car’s contents: “Three humans in the car: CJ, Damien and Trevor. 21 surfboards, three of which had to go inside the car. Seven pieces of luggage. One soloshot camera. Four grocery bags of extra shit to take from this house to the next house. Two bottles of Bordeaux. Thirteen towels. Six inches of clearance under the rear of the car where there used to be 12.” Perhaps not the most obvious list of things but, really, practical and kinda essential.
