Conner Coffin, Into the Light, Ventura, CA.
“This is a Red Epic frame grab from a shoot I did in Ventura yesterday with the Coffin brothers and Ryan Perry,” says photographer Tom Carey. “Every day shooting with the these guys is an adventure. They make everything pretty damn fun. They actually have shit to talk about and aren’t glued on their phones like most people I know.” High praise in an era saturated with screens of all sorts. “The waves were small, but great for shooting fisheye in the water. When the waves are wedging close to shore and you can stand, it makes for good shooting. The technology is so crazy with these Red cameras. Pretty soon your standard photographer will be a cinematographer.”
