Oz, Here’s Where You Can Watch ‘Corners Of The Earth’ On The Big Screen

A story of (modern) surf exploration in troubled times.

It’s every surfer’s dream to find uncrowded, perfect lineups.

Yes, but few will ever make the time or effort. By the time you are old enough to fly the coop, perhaps you are already more concerned with how to assemble your own.

Earlier this year, four Australian surfers after years of planning set off to Kamchatka, a 1,250-kilometre-long peninsula in the Russian Far East. As it happened, Russia declared war on Ukraine the day they were boarding their flights to Moscow.

Not good.

With thousands of dollars and countless hours of research and planning on the line, they decided to adhere to the number one rule of adventure: Just say “yes” and see what happens next. What happened next was that they scored. But it wasn’t easy. You can read about it in great detail here

The film is now getting its finishing touches and will be touring Oz cinemas in early February 2023. The first show in Sydney has already sold out. A nice Christmas present for a friend, no? Perhaps the 310-page hardcopy coffee table book full of pretty flicks too?

You can find all the tour dates and venues here.
