Did you really miss this week’s episode of Stab High again? Oy vey, you’ve got to get those priorities straightened out. Watch Episode 4 above, or scroll down for the recap.

Congratulations to the winners of Vans Stab High presented by Monster Energy, Ian Crane, Caity Simmers, and Nate Fletcher!

Ian’s backside stalefish was enough to keep his first place position for the last few days of the trip, despite solid attempts from Kevin Schulz and Griffin Colapinto.

Siera Kerr led the Ladybirds for most of the contest, but Caity Simmers launched her way up the podium with what can only be described as a youthful display of radical elegance. This was no easy task for Caity, considering Erin Brooks and Bella Kenworthy we’re not too far behind, throwing air after air.

High Flying Uncle Nathan Fletcher wins the Monster Air Award.

A group of young guns and somehow the old man snags the award for biggest air? I thought he was just chaperoning this field trip. As they say, a new broom sweeps clean, but an old broom knows the corners.  Nathan’s dedication to aerial surfing over the last 20 years is part of the reason we are able to hold contests like Stab High, and for that, we will be forever grateful. Well deserved Mr. Fletcher, now put some ice packs on those knees.

Close, but no Cigar.

After Episode 1, I made a claim that despite being an unfamiliar face, Sebastian Williams was going to take home the gold. His pop of the lip is undeniable and his style through the air is untouchable. Atop an asymmetrical board from the Electric Acid Surfboard test, Seb through an enormous frontside stalefish that boosted him into second place. While my prediction was incorrect, there’s no denying that Sebastian Williams established himself as one of aerial surfings top dogs during this trip.

A familiar ending.

I’m not sure what beef Stab has in the past with Zeus, the Greek God of Thunder and Lightning, but he still seems upset about it. Once again, Stab High ended abruptly due to dangerous weather conditions, creating a frantic yet familiar award ceremony.

Thank you all for watching, and a special thanks to Vans, Monster Energy, and the rest of the Stab crew.
