7 Moments Worth Reliving From Our Surf100 Challenge Series Pres. By Pacifico

And, how Eithan Osborne officially made it to our $100,000 finale.

We’ve just released the final Episode of our Surf100 Challenge Series Presented by Pacifico, where we spent the last two months dangling a $100,000 payday over the noses of eight professional surfers.

As you’ll have seen by now, our final surfer to qualify was none other than Eithan Osborne — 2024 Stab High Champ, Skinny Meathead star, and proud owner of possibly the chunkiest air ever landed in the ocean.

Throughout our entire Challenge Series, Eithan oscillated between railwork rampages and complete meltdowns. His path to the final surf-off was passionate at best, chaotic at worst — one finger salutes, foam and fiberglass in pieces, and more than a few moments of his trademark brilliance.

A fin-ditch layback at Blacks. A gritty comeback at Scripps. And, at the Rincon Dumpster Diver challenge, Eithan’s knowledge of the location and craft carried him through.

Then came Waco. After dislocating his shoulder in his opening match, he eventually eliminated his former teammate Jacob Willcox with a switch air, a madonna, and a god-forsaken roast beef.

Scroll below for seven of our favorite moments from the series, and get ready for our live premiere of the Surf100 Finale on September 17th.

7. Rasta Robb’s Resurrection

“Do you want to let Rasta know he has to surf again? I’m not doing it,” Josiah Amico said to Yadin Nicol, as Rasta stomped up the beach — just four heats into the first challenge of Surf100 pres by Pacifico. Reportedly, the Flagler native was puking in the lineup, with a mix of fatigue and nerves to blame. After a pep talk from Crane, Rasta whipped his tail and smashed a lip to finally get the W over Jacob Wilcox and Noah Beschen. He released a guttural war cry to celebrate his longest stint of competitive surfing — 75 minutes.

6. Blacks Goes XXM

On day 2 of Surf100, our seven surfers confront an oddly huge California beachie. Cam tries to outrun the bear first. The bear catches him. Rasta does the same and, of course, the Florida man makes it out alive.

5. Crane’s Crashout

“Win or lose, I want a fucking cut of whatever marketing dollars C.I. paid you to make us ride these shitty fucking boards.” Ian Crane said at Rincon, while Britt Merrick and the Channel Islands team watched.  All we’ll say here is that we did not, in fact, get paid any marketing dollars for this. And we still love you Crane.

4. Eithan and Rasta Vs The World

What could make the most miserable challenge of Surf100 more miserable? Battling a Scripps lineup — who are completely unaware of the $100K purse — for chest-high waves. Rasta and Eithan fade the crowd first, ask forgiveness later.

3. Eithan Expands Our Vocab

We played a game of SKATE at Waco Texas, and no one dug deeper into the trick bag than Eithan, who pulled a switch air (first try), a handful of slobs, and a nearly NBD Roast Beef.

2. Sebastian Williams Takes A Snack Break… And Gets A Perfect 100

I don’t mean to be disrespectful but I think that’s the best I can do out there,” Sebastian Williams said, coming in with 18-minutes left in his heat against Eithan Osborne and Rasta Robb, before joining our judges in a field of dandelions. Then, as Eithan finally returns to the beach and vents his frustration at Sebastian, our wiretaps finally capture a Love Island worthy exchange.

A few hours later? Sebastian Williams paddles out at the Lane for their final heat and stomps what may well be the biggest air ever done at the West Side Santa Cruz point.

1. Eithan Meditates His Way To $100K

After channeling his inner Colapinto and listening to 20 straight minutes of Sunami while in a makeshift isolation chamber, an uncharacteristically tranquil Eithan clinched last spot in our $100K Finale with one wave.

And, thanks to our friends at Pacifico, we’re throwing our first-ever live Surf100 Finale on September 17th in Oceanside. There’ll be free food from Fireball Pizzeria and Shoots Fish & Beer, plus drinks on us. You’ll also be in the mix with Surf100’s surfers and crew behind the series— hard hitting questions are encouraged, no softballs.

We’d love to see you there — no RSVP necessary. Bring your brother, your mother, your sister, and your friends. First come, first served for everything on offer.

Doors open at 6 pm PST
Live broadcast starts at 6:50 pm PST

Location: JS Garage Address: 305 Wisconsin Ave, Oceanside, CA 92054

Eithan will be participating in a different sort of meditation if he wins $100,000…
