While Hurricane Marie lay the smack down on the US west coast, Hurricane Cristobal pulled punches on the east. “It was overhyped just like every hurricane swell that we usually get,” says photographer Connor Halpin. “I went down south with Luke Ditella and Tom Petriken to find some fun ramps and some decent sized tubes. But Luke threw this air after paddling around in annoyance of ‘surfers’ that should’ve have been out there. All in all it was a good day and was stoked to get some good shots and meet some great people down there.”
