Michel Bourez is the most powerful surfer in today’s competitive ranks. 

Used to be Pancho Sullivan, Rob Machado held the title for a hot minute, but it’s been all about Michel for the past five or so years. 

With legs the size of pier pilings and pecks that cast a shadow, it’s no wonder Michel is a master of displacing water. Rumor has it he was DC’s first choice for the recent Aquaman film, but they were forced to settle for Jason ‘Noodle-arms’ Momoa when Michel made too big of splashies in the set pool and ruined all their equipment. 

The Tahitian also grapples with men for fun, has a loving wife and children, and knows his way around a gaping funnel, which despite how it sounds is totally unrelated to the two former qualifiers.
