We Made A Paper With SurfStitch And You Should Definitely Read It
Once mag men, always mag men.
Print may seem like an archaic medium for a rapid delivery digital mega platform to dip their toe into, but therein lies the point.
It’s difficult enough for us to give our web portal a soul, and we’re filing it daily with commentary straight from the consciousness of those paid to put fingers to keys, but for SurfStitch, one of Australia’s biggest online retailers, it’s another beast entirely. That’s why we decided to band together and make POST, a Stab x SurfStitch printed joint venture. It’d been a while since we’d battled with grids and printers, but once we lubed up the joints it was just like old times; hustling page by page towards the finish line. POST is a bit of surf, splash of culture, a fair chunk of fashion and a bit of a behind the scenes of SS.com.

Nothing like seeing hard graft culminating in stacks of pretty pages.
Walking into offices is often an awkward affair. Depending on the day, walking into Stab Hq could see you greeted with a gaggle of half-crazed loons dancing on the tables, or a bunch of nerds in headsets furiously hammering the keys. During the making of POST we discovered that they’re a bit more…level, at SurfStitch, and every time we ventured to the back of Burleigh Heads we shared lunch and laughs, and marvelled at how human such a big operation can be. So without further unnecessary peacocking, pour yourself a brew or pop the top of something cold, settle in and have a digital read below, or, buy something from SurfStitch and get your issue free in the mail. In our pseudo-educated opinions, there’s nothing like picking it up and having a flick through.
