If there ever were a two-piece that exclaimed with deep and unwavering conviction, “I can do all things through this versatile and boldly-patterned swim set, which strengthens me,” it would be this one.

Style: Curacao Aro Bralette Bikini Top & Curacao Splash Performance Cross-Over Short

Color: Multi

Price: $77, $59

Part festively floral surf suit, part post-surf training look, part “I’m running to get a juice, you want one?”, this super lightweight matching duo offers just enough coverage from the elements without slowing you down an iota. Presumably named after the bitter oranged-flavored liqueur, the play-ready pairing is similarly bright, tropical, and designed to loosen things up.

Top: A simple, snug, movement-minded silhouette puts function front and center while the print and scoop-back detail keep things fun without over-complicating things. Reminiscent of that perfect sports bra, this harkens to a classic athletic top that just happens to work beautifully in the water. And with a Nylon/Spandex blend, all you’ll feel is a silky, stretchy, soft-to-the-touch fabric that doesn’t grip or pinch but stays perfectly in place. Win, win, win.

Bottoms: The just-right inseam length (3.5”) of these cute bootie shorts offers practical coverage while still feeling just a touch flirty, meaning freedom of movement without wondering about the state of things down south. Light enough to feel like you’re wearing nothing, but with much more sensible coverage, these have me feeling like Sally O’Malley after a Bikram yoga class and a double espresso. Also, on behalf of all women, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Body Glove for the addition of sleek, subtle, and oh-so-sneaky side slit pockets. They may not prove to be the most useful detail in the water but a girl will take all the pockets she can get in this life.

Favorite Features:

  • UPF 50+ UV protection.
  • A classically comfortable, performance-forward fit that can cross over into any activity.
  • Thoughtful pocket detailing.
  • Kicking and stretching are strongly encouraged.

Overall: This playfully-printed crossover can take you from yoga to surfing to lounging in a single, exceptionally comfy set. Also, for the UV-ray conscious, a matching cropped long-sleeve rashie makes this versatile set an even more functional trio, and the bright colors will ensure you’ll stand out like the beautiful flower you are in the lineup.
