Summer Teeth x Kid Creature

You’ve heard of Cal Saxton aka Kid Creature, the freckled, white-mopped 11-year-old who draws fancy and throws green at charity. You’ve sure as heck heard of Dane Reynolds, best-surfer-in-world from Ventura, CA, man with the greatest monopoly over the surf industry, whether or not he likes it. Via Dane’s clothing digs, Summer Teeth, (the existence of which is an anomaly in itself, given Dane’s Quik endorsement), the pair have teamed up to release a collab range. Back in February, Cal hung out at Dane’s crib for a stint to surf, eat tacos and draw. What they came up with is now available in teo-form and a coupla beach towel prints. Below are a few of the items and the guys’ words on each. Jump over to Dane’s site,Summer Teeth to get your hands on the real thing. Kid Creature x 4 (Left): Here is the copy used on the 2 shirts Cal did a mini surf adventure to Ventura. He surfed C-Street on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It was six-foot and fairly calm. Stand-up paddlers were being very aggressive. One of the, jabbed this dude with his paddle. Then a couple surfers surrounded him on the beach. Then the lifeguard came. – Dane. Banana Hammock Head Hunter (Right): We went down to Ventura to Dane’s. Got a surf in… went over the falls a couple of times. Got some of the best tacos and cokes at a Mexican food dive. If it has orange walls you know it’s good. After we drew some sick drawings like the Banana Hammock Head Hunter you’re looking at right now. – Kid Creature. Beach Towels: Kid Creature is 11 years old. He digs surfing and loves drawing; bananas with butcher knives, manic robots, cycloptic grandmas, murderous teeth… rad stuff. Naturally we wanted to collaborate with him. This towel (bottom) features a TV box ruined into the Kid Creature channel and Summer Teeth seizing a giraffe. In true Kid Creature fashion, 10 percent of sales will be donated to help fight cystic fibrosis. – Dane.
