Slowtide Is Giving You the Chance to Win Cash, Product and Have Your Artwork or Photo Featured on A Towel

Seems like you’ll have the time.

Now here’s an initiative we can get behind.

We’re all hurting and stressing right now (or we’re soon gunna be), but the brands feel it quicker than the knock-on that’s going to alter the way we live our lives. Think about it, you’re a smallish co who’s margins are similar in stature. You have your good months, your bad, but even through the bad the lights are on. The something like this hits and “whoof!”, the way you operate suddenly isn’t feasible anymore. But what you gunna do, cry and whinge? Offer your employees 50% of their wage for twice the work (literally heard this from a friend – at a safe distance half an hour ago)? No. Now’s the time for innovation, for blowing on the dice and praying for anything other than snake eyes.

2ND ANNUAL CCC blog 01

It’s no secret that we’re enduring fans of Californian (via Hawaii) brand Slowtide. They’ve taken one of the dullest household items (the humble towel) and given it life, through innovation, smart collabs, and by generally taking a creative approach to drying off after a surf or swim. So that’s why we’re getting behind their latest initiative: the second instalment of their Creative Canvas competition, that they’ve brought forward to encourage the great housebound masses to dust off the paints and hard drives in order to put a bit of much needed positivity into the atmosphere.

2ND ANNUAL CCC blog 03

There’s $500 cash up for grabs (which let’s face it, we could all do with right now), $500 worth of Slowtide gear (“oh I’ve got too many nice towels,” said no one, ever) and more importantly, you get to have your creations printed on 50 limited edition towels, and featured in the next edition of Slowtide’s Art of Drying Off exhibition. It’s painfully simple to enter, so read the conditions above, hit the link at the bottom, and get inventive.

Head here for the small print.
