Seven Travel Essentials I Don’t Leave Home Without

The simple bare necessities.

VITAMINS

I am no perfect human. I barely remember to take vitamins… but, for me, it’s a placebo on a trip, and I have to have them. Like when I have them, I don’t need them. And when I forget them I am sick wishing I had my echinacea haha. I keep it simple – everyone needs different things but I just bring a women’s multi and probiotic, fish oil, echinacea, and this weird blend for my knee and joints right now.

WET BRUSH

Every surfer girl needs one. If I use any other brush after surfing I get dreads, if I use any other brush with dry hair I have an afro. This is a necessity for me.

VOLCOM BIKINIS

I love to change up my styles of bikinis so I don’t get crazy tan lines. I also change up my style depending on where I’m surfing and on conditions – I’m sure that makes sense to everyone haha. So I travel with a ton of bikinis!

CARGO SKIRT

It’s easy for me to be tomboy all the time. So, I always keep a skirt in my suitcase to make me feel feminine. This is my favorite Volcom one out right now. Skirts are sick, they make a hoodie still look girlie and cute.

GoPro HERO 7

I bring this little guy everywhere. Good battery life and more durable than your phone. It’s a must for all your proper missions on trips. In Bali – Mason and I missioned around with it everywhere. It’s so cool too, to instantly have your clips from a surf especially from your point of view.

PIRETTE Fragrance oil

This is the only scent you’ll ever need! In one sentence it smells like the most perfect beach day. Light and fresh. I’ve always struggled with wearing scents in the day and this is the only one I really like. Also constantly traveling with boys- it’s the only scent they can handle and continuously compliment cause it smells like surf! It’s also an oil so it changes with everyone and lasts forever – even in the ocean!

THE FIVE MINUTE JOURNAL

This is my morning jam. As you can see there are coffee stains on it haha! It’s a rad and quick way to stay grounded and give gratitude while busy on the road. There is an inspirational quote each day and you write three things you’re grateful for / what would make today great / daily affirmations / three amazing things that happened today / how I could have made today better. Did you know scientists discovered that keeping a daily gratitude journal leads to better sleep, reductions of physical pain, a greater sense of well being, and a better ability to handle change? 🙂
