Photolyfe: Jake Keller

Welcome back to PhotoLyfe, in which Stab’s favourite photographers answer questions about themselves with their own images. It’s that old picture-tells-a-thousand-words chestnut but with more colour and pop. It’s a way to cut out all the bullshit. From First Point Malibu, to Baja, to far across the Pacific in dazzling Namotu waters, these are the preferred hunting grounds of 17 year-old, Jake Keller. Having a global vision is crucial these days in preventing a monotonous feed and this young lensman has it covered.

“I got into photography because I wanted to take photos of waves with my Gopro,” he told Stab. “How things have changed. I’m now full time shooting on a 1dx, working with the likes of RedBull, Surfer, Surfline [and Stab of course].”
