Mick Fanning Plays Fashion ‘Mentor’ For Van Heusen
“We all deal with adversity. It’s all learning and that’s what we do in life, we’ve gotta keep learning.”
Mick Fanning just ticked another box in his gap year to-do list. Earlier in the year the three-time best surfer in the world withdrew from a bunch of tour stops to take a breather and has been busy since, surfing waves produced by glaciers, winning a CT event and more recently, becoming a fashion ‘mentor’ for slick suit shapers Van Heusen.
Mick joined AFL Sydney Swans Captain, Jarrad McVeigh, Entourage founder and self made millionaire, Jack Delosa and fashion figure Jimmy Niggles in the label’s new ‘Mentors’ campaign. The influencers involved will be showcasing the latest formal wares from the Van Heusen Spring Summer Collection as well as signing up as mentors who’ll provide aspiring gents with styling advice and inspiration should they need to up their dapper factor.
“I’ve been fortunate to receive some fantastic advice over the years which has encouraged me to break out and start new ventures such as my brewery business,” says Mick. “It’s my hope that by working with Van Heusen, we’ll be able to inspire future generations to believe they can do anything they set their mind too.”

“It doesn’t matter if you’re a little kid or an old man, we all deal with adversity. It’s all learning and that’s what we do in life, we’ve gotta keep learning.”
Mick Fanning, Chairman Of The Board.
