Insted We Smile x Sunday Somewhere: An Eyewear Joint
“Let’s do it on a Sunday Insted.”
Oh, Steds! Dear Luke Stedman radiates further (as if that seemed possible, based on the above image), by growing his sartorial offering to include a small eyewear capsule, as facilitated by Sunday Somewhere. “With 10 years of friendship in their back pocket, the two creative powerhouses took on a complete collaborative approach to conceptualise the collection – luxury meets surf. Fusing both brand identities, the collection is aptly named Let’s do it on a Sunday Insted.”
You’ll no doubt be aware of Steds’ bold, yardage-loving collections. But the eyewear joint is a departure to something more subtle. Two styles come in a range of colours but keep it very timeless. The Kai frame is a unisex design with a masculine edge, for those who’re partial to a classic shape with some colour kink. The Spike (tattooed on his arm in honour of his son, Spike), is also a unisex style but again with masculine emphasis – though, the metal arms lighten this style up. Stab particularly likes the purple-lensed Kai!
