Who Said Surfing Had To Be Straight?

There’s something to be said for surfing a wave how it’s “meant to be surfed”. 

That is: to drop in and go off the bottom, off the top, off the bottom, off the top, until that rolling piece of foam hits the sand (repeat 25x, consume a chia seed smoothie, and call it a day). This style of surfing will never die, and rightfully so. 

But man, it would be fucked if everyone surfed like that. Which is why we adore the approach of Jake Vincent, a Sunshine Coast graduate and Rage’s most ardent intern (Jake was the one who manually sent out every Rage3 link to their purchasers).  

In this brief montage, we see Jake take every line on a wave except that which could be considered ordinary. Which by definition, makes the edit extraordinary.
