Exclusive: Stab & Quiksilver’s New 11-Piece Collection
With 2x Stab High winner Hughie Vaughan at the centre of the mood board.
“These older guys don’t wanna know about you. You’re just some kid who’s come to steal their lunch. It’s not enough to one-up them. If you want to win, you have to SMASH them…”
Such was the pep talk Sam McIntosh gave Hughie Vaughan after three consecutive failed attempts on the right in the Stab High Japan final.
Roughly 30 seconds later, following a few sideline missives from Albee Layer about his diminutive stature and “sloppy” layback landings, the Cenny Coast grom set his line, torqued his wiry frame and ripped an enormous inverted backside indy full rotation to take top spot on the leaderboard.

HUGHIE FUCKEN VAUGHAN was born that day, thanks to the ecstatic vocals of Mitch Tomo calling his killshot on the broadcast.
It was a moniker that survived precisely 11 months, until Stab High Virginia, when HUGO BOSS received his second oversized novelty cheque from Stab. This time for greasing a frontside stalefish flip and earning the first Perfect 50 in event history.
HUGO BOSS (2026–infinity).
The latest (and fourth ever) collaboration between Stab and Quiksilver is essentially Hughie’s kit for when he’s not getting sideways, inverted, back-to-front or upside-down.
And sometimes when he is.

The hero piece is probably the tracksuit + bumbag combo. Boxy, oversized, sporty, menacing. Something you might catch David Beckham, Liam Gallagher or Jisoe dead wearing.

There’s reflective piping that’ll blow out a flash. Ripstop side panels for airing out the legs when the neighbours catch you cutting their hose again. Exterior QUIKSTAB labels that will never be made or seen again. Elastic where you want elastic for ease of entry and undress. And enough versatility to dress it up, dress it down, or get escorted out of somewhere reasonably nice.

There are 2x boardies and tees too. Contrast-stitched. On the heavier side at 220gsm. Not so hot you’ll get bothered. Not so thin they’ll perish on a washing line during drought season.

If you should really be hiding your pasty white knees from the spotlight, there’s a 21-inch option too.

Alternatively, exercise your right to bare patella, hop in a time machine to 2011, or possibly the future, fashion being cyclical and all, and pretend your kicking around Grassy Knoll at the height of the squirrel pandemic.
