Electric have a new game in 2013. A new logo, some new team riders, and a new look courtesy of Eric Crane, who designed the original Electric identity in 2000. Stab‘s fond of the sophisticated new direction. We’re also fond of their newest sunglasses release, the Rip Rock.
The Rip Rock is aimed at a “clean, vintage aesthetic,” and kinda succeeds. While the design is all California, the Rip Rock vibes with Italian-made curves, like Monica Bellucci, and like you’d expect from any quality piece of eyewear in this age. It also swings with a five-barrel stainless steel optical hinge, 100 percent UV protection, six base polycarbonate lens and all that other good stuff.
Bear in mind, this is a unisex design and is a size category three, so if your head is large and masculine, testdrive ’em on at your local surf store first. Otherwise, you can purchase over here.
