Chippa Wilson In “Fish Responsibly”
Rubber is required south of the border.
In honour of winter, we’ve curated an untraditional, highly-serious shoot to aid your yearly purchase. In all honesty, wetsuits haven’t improved much in the past years. Comfort is the new stretch. Chest zips are the norm, and they’re all generally produced from the same material. Regardless, a piece of thoughtfully composed rubber is critical to your cold water experience and we like showing them off. So, we took some of our favourite surfers and shot them anywhere but the ocean (we did go for a surf afterwards; we’re not that cruel!). Here Chippa preps for the cookout in his Adelio Connor 3/2.
Quality is one sniff away.

“I’m down in Mexico in my full suit,” says Chippa. “We’re just down here at a local beach choosing out some fish to cook up. It’s real flexible, so I can reach in and grab what I want. It’s pretty smelly down here, too, you pick up a fish and all this gunk and stuff starts pouring out. So it’s been keeping the smell off me.”
