Noa Deane was born in the 90s. So, it stands to very good reason that his musical taste bounces around the decade in which he came into this world. Even though he wasn’t around when a lot of it first lit up cassette tapes, Noa’s ears are magnetised to a Seattle vibe and anything played with angst on a Jaguar. And, y’know what? It fits like iron fest in velvet glove with his surfing: Fast, loose, big and raw. Watch this for proof.
Noa’s mix came with little notes and specifications. Nirvana’s Aneurysm? It’s gotta be the one off Incesticide. Oh, and make sure that Old Man by Neil Young is the live-at-the-BBC version. And, if you’re gonna include All Apologies by Nirvana, please ensure it’s the LP version. And so on. If Stab ain’t the biggest suckers for attention to detail…
