J-Bay turns heads post WSL-split.
A month and a half back, after a weeks of fevered gossip, the WSL finally came clean: Planet Earth’s premier right-hander would no longer part of planet Earth’s premier surfing tour.
J-Bay’s dumped, Raglan’s the hot new thing.
“We have made the difficult decision to pull Jeffreys Bay from the 2026 CT calendar,” came the WSL press release. “We did our very best to make J-Bay work in 2025, but the financial support isn’t there to make it viable this year.”
A blow for the WSL, who, since Crosby came along, has been making moves that even a cynic could respect. But now J-Bay’s been dumped. So, what’s left to do when you’ve been discarded?
Wash that face. Get a haircut. Maybe try Ozempic. Have yourself a glow up.
