Although becoming a father means sleepless nights, skinny wallets, crying babies, and very little time left for surfing, the precious moments of Julian Wilson’s semi-Vlog portray a fatherhood that’s more joy than stress.

Watch him exit the water to an adorable, smiling product of himself wrapped in the arms of his beautiful wife, Ashley, and let your heart go soft. Give a quick awhhh, and wait for the surfing. 

At the time of this video, Julian had just come off a 9th place result at the Corona Bali Protected, leaving him in the 19th spot on the Jeep Leaderboard – subpar for the 2018 World Runner-Up. His frustration with his paltry start to the season is on full display.

After a semi-final finish at Margs, Julian now sits at 13th place in the rankings. Never the worry, this trend will move upward, Jules is too handy a surfer for it not to.
