Watch: John Florence Board Testing At Snapper Rocks Today
Trying on for size in the Super Bank changeroom.
Board testing, CT prepping or simply enjoying the perks of Southern Queensland during a summer flurry, John Florence is on the Gold Coast and getting active.
He’s out on a brief strike to feel out 16 new boards, which, according to Jon Pyzel are a mixture of different outlines, not dissimilar to the revered Ghost and its step down cousin, the Phantom. He’s been toying with different widths, tails, thickness and fin size during the recent much anticipated east swell.
Now, you can read up on all the details, specs and JJF itinerary from our chit chat with Jon here, or simply hit play on the above motion imagery, which lensman Billy Lee-Pope captured for Stab today on the world’s most fantastic stretch of overpopulated sand.
Stay tuned, we’ve more to come from the area!
