Watch: Andrew Doheny Is Happy (And Ripping)!

If there’s one thing to take from this clip of Andrew ‘Droid’ Doheny——and, there are many takeaways, trust us—it’s that black, long-sleeve rashguards are back in a big way. 

The non-comp lycra fell firmly out of favor in the early-aughts, but over the last few years I’ve come to appreciate their style/function and have since brought one along for all of my equatorial adventures.   

But if there’s another thing to take from this clip, it’s that Andrew ‘Droid’ Doheny has still got plenty of swing left in him. The Newport heir has definitely taken an alternative route to this whole “professional surfer” gig, but it seems he’s happy to run with such an eclectic group and his surfing has never looked looser.
